VETERAN’S DAY 5K RACE

Come out and support Loudoun County’s newest and largest regional park. Join us in our inaugural Veteran’s Day 5K race. The course is USATF Certified and very unique. Runners will travel throughout the entire park around sports fields, crossing over bridges and running through wooded park trails.  The course is 90% cross country style, running on grass, with 10% run on paved paths and over wood bridges.  All proceeds from this race benefit the Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department and The Philip Bolen Memorial Park.

Register through Loudoun County’s webtrac, activity number: 175709, by mail, in person at any Loudoun County facility or on www.prraces.com. Call 571-258-3487 to have a registration form mailed to you, for more information or if you have any questions about the race.

Race timing will be done by Commonwealth Race Management, Inc. using the IPICO electronic timing system, a state-of-the-art timing system used in top races nation-wide.

Early bird fee:  $23 through September 30^th  

Regular fee:  $28, October 1^st -November 10^th

Race Day:  $33 (November 11^th)

Youth fee: Flat fee $15 - youth 17 and under

(No refunds given for no shows or cancellations)

The first 300 registrants are guaranteed a commemorative t-shirt.

Awards:  Top overall male and female finishers. 

Top two male and female finishers in each age group: 14 & under, 15-19,   20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over.

Post-race:  There will be refreshments for all participants. 

Packet pick up:  Packet pick up will be held at Bolen Park, Saturday, November 10,   from 11 am- 4 pm.  Race day registration will be available beginning at 7:00am.
